EdgeShares Advisors LLC
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information EdgeShares Advisors LLC (“EdgeShares”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit edgeshares.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed the Site to collect as little as possible: most of it works without any cookies at all, and the one service that does use a cookie asks for your permission first.
1. Who we are
EdgeShares Advisors LLC is a Delaware limited liability company developing a leveraged exchange-traded fund structure. Our products are in development and are not currently available for investment. For anything relating to this policy, contact info@edgeshares.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide: your name, email address, whether you are contacting us as an individual investor, an institution, or press, the subject and text of your message, and the page you sent it from. We use these only to respond to you and to keep a record of the correspondence.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Page-view statistics (no consent needed). We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and page views and to see which pages, referring sites, countries, and device types are common. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and cannot identify you as an individual; it derives a short-lived, anonymised visitor hash that is discarded daily.
- Visitor identification (only with your consent). With your permission, we use Leadfeeder, a service operated by Dealfront Group GmbH, to identify the organisation a visit comes from. Leadfeeder matches your IP address against a database of company networks and sets a first-party cookie (
_lfa) so that pages viewed in the same visit are grouped together. It tells us, for example, that someone from a particular asset manager read our research page; it does not tell us who at that firm did so, and it does not identify visitors on home or mobile connections. We use this to understand institutional interest in our work and to prioritise follow-up. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, Leadfeeder is never loaded. - Server logs and security. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and the spam-protection service on our contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile, where enabled) process IP addresses and request details to deliver the Site and block abuse. The contact form stores a truncated form of your IP address (the last part removed) with your message for abuse triage.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
edgeshares_consent_v1 | EdgeShares (browser storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner so we don’t ask again. | 180 days | Not required (strictly necessary) |
_lfa | Leadfeeder (Dealfront) | Groups the pages viewed in one visit for company-level identification. | Up to 2 years | Required — set only after you click “Accept” |
cf_clearance, __cf_bm | Cloudflare Turnstile | Distinguishes people from bots when the contact form is used (only where Turnstile is enabled). | Up to 30 minutes | Not required (strictly necessary) |
You can change your choice at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer of any page. Declining removes the Leadfeeder cookie from your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will continue to work.
4. How we use information
- To answer your enquiries and correspond with you.
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
- With your consent, to understand which organisations are interested in our research and to prioritise investor and partner outreach.
- To keep the Site secure and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations, including record-keeping obligations that apply to us as a prospective fund sponsor.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed to run the Site:
| Provider | Role | Data |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Hosting, delivery, anonymous analytics | Request logs; anonymised page-view statistics |
| Supabase Inc. | Database for market data and contact-form records | Contact-form submissions |
| Resend Inc. | Email delivery of contact-form messages to us | Contact-form submissions |
| Dealfront Group GmbH (Leadfeeder) | Company-level visitor identification (consent-based) | IP address, pages viewed, _lfa cookie |
| Cloudflare Inc. (Turnstile) | Bot protection on the contact form (where enabled) | IP address, browser signals |
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public. If EdgeShares is involved in a merger, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to this policy.
6. International transfers
Our providers operate in the United States and, in Leadfeeder’s case, the European Union. Where information is transferred across borders, we rely on our providers’ standard contractual safeguards.
7. How long we keep information
Contact-form messages and our replies are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet our record-keeping obligations, generally no longer than five years after the last correspondence. Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate. Leadfeeder visit data is retained according to our Leadfeeder plan settings and can be deleted on request.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. Residents of New Jersey and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may also opt out of “targeted advertising” and the “sale” of personal data; we do not engage in either, and our Site honours the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of consent-based tracking. To exercise any right, email info@edgeshares.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. If you are in the EU or UK you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
The Site is served only over HTTPS with strict transport security, and our contact-form data is stored in an access-controlled database that is not readable from the public internet. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
